Birthday parties aren’t always for kids… and we would know since we had the honor of producing Adam’s 50th Birthday Party. A continuous line of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Maseratis were a clear indication that a who’s who of South Florida would be in attendance. Only if your name was on the list would the Continuum’s concierge activate the elevator.

Very little was left to the imagination with the fun theme our client chose for his swanky Miami Beach apartment. Once you entered, you discovered paradise on Earth. The entire condo was decorated like the Garden of Eden to go with the Adam and Eve theme. The mood was set with gorgeous models wearing only body painted serpents and apples and the canopies of ivy and leaves hanging throughout the apartment.

We mirrored the theme by creating some dishes and drinks to excite the guests’ palates. Some fan favorites were the Mini Forbidden Candy Apples, the Garden Fruit Sorbet Shots and cocktails like the Serpentini and Eve’s Seduction (See recipe here). Adam is a good  friend and longtime client; it was an honor to organize this party for him.

Eggwhites Produces Lavish Events for Art Basel’s 10th Anniversary

Eggwhites has been all over town for great events for Art Basel’s 10th anniversary. Earlier in the week we catered the Collector’s Preview at the Design Miami tent, where we are also operating the Café through Sunday December 4th and at the Fendi VIP lounge. Yesterday morning we had guests visit us at the Design Miami tent bright and early for the Collector’s Breakfast. Later at night we served some delicious sweets to compliment Pharrell’s liquor Qream at his party for Art Basel while simultaneously producing the Montblanc de la Culture dinner honoring Craig Robins.

With the weekend just beginning we have some great events lined up. Today we will be on a private mega yacht for Christie’s Auction House and at night at the fabulous Moore Building for the Designer of the Year party for 500 special guests. For the rest of the weekend we have some very lavish events at spectacular venues in the Design District, South Beach, Fisher Island and  Downtown Miami.

We hope to see you at the Design Miami Café or another Eggstraordinary event soon!

The Wine Enthusiast Magazine is coming to Miami with their Toast of the Town event on Friday, September 23rd. The event will take place at the historic Moore Building located in the Miami Design District. We are excited to be producing this high-profile event as well as participating alongside 35 top restaurants and 65 wineries.

If you happen to be in attendance (and we hope you are!) stop by our table and say hello. We will be serving up our signature Wasabi Infused Tuna Tartare with Avocado. Also, while at the event we recommend visiting restaurant booths like Area 31 and Makoto and be sure to have a taste of wine being poured from Moet Hennessy, Robert Mondavi and many more. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, they are still available on the Toast of the Town website.

We have put together an exciting program featuring everything from dramatic lighting illuminating Zaha Hadid’s amazing Elastika sculpture to our elaborate cheese displays presented on each floor. There’s no better company to produce a fabulous Grand Opening Party than Eggwhites Special Event Catering!  Giraffas, an established casual restaurant concept that has been in business in Brazil for over 30 years with over 350 restaurants just opened their first US location. Eggwhites was brought on to produce this spectacular party with an array of great signature cocktails, such as Passion Fruit and Strawberry Caipirinhas and our famous signature drink the Triple Egg Pisco (Recipe featured below). Eggwhites’ stellar staff served a variety of delectable Brazilian specialties to guests which will be featured on the menu at Giraffas. Guests enjoyed the traditional dishes served such as the Quinoa with Mixed Greens and Baby Shrimp and Picanha with Farofa (Top Sirloin with a Semolina Grain).  Eggwhites Catering is thrilled to have been a part of Giraffas’ highly anticipated expansion to the Miami area.

The Triple Egg Pisco, which was a guest favorite at the Giraffas Grand Opening, is one of Eggwhites’ most popular signature cocktails. It is a variation on the traditional Peruvian cocktail, the Pisco Sour, with the Eggwhites special flair in the addition of the 3 mini quail egg garnish.

Eggwhites Special Event Catering Produces a Quinceañera featured in A&E’s “The Glades” at the Spanish Monastery

On Friday, May 6th, 2011, Eggwhites Catering had the privilege to produce a fabulous Quinceañera for an episode of  A&E’s #1 Show “The Glades” at the beautiful Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach.   

 

 

We designed a gorgeous Quince which was very traditional, but also trendy and cutting edge. 

The cuisine featured was a combination of passed hors d’oeuvres and fun stations such as: Serrano Ham and Queso Croquetas; Seared Tuna Carpaccio on Yucca Chips; a Tostones Martini station with Carnitas, Queso Blanco and Key Lime Crema; a Ceviche Shot station including Shrimp Ceviche with Fresh Lime, Tuna Ceviche with Haberneros and Sea Scallop Ceviche with Pink Vinegar.

Eggwhites Special Event Catering Produces the Grand Debut of Juicy Couture to Lincoln Road

May 13th, 2011

 Nothing compliments great fashion better than fabulous food and cocktails, and no one knows that better than Eggwhites!  We were thrilled to be a party of the Grand Opening Party at the brand new Juicy Couture store at 1111 Lincoln Road in South Beach.  The party was filled with fabulous guests to include celebrity appearances from Jonathan Cheban of the Kim Kardashian produced E! Entertainment show The Spin Crowd and Camilla Belle of movies such as The Lost World: Jurassic Park and When a Stranger Calls.

To compliment the style of Juicy Couture, Eggwhites Special Event Catering created a custom California- inspired menu to include hors d’oeuvres such as: Turkey Burger Sliders with Avocado Mayo and Caramelized Shallots, Tuna Tartar Mini Cones with Green Habanera Foam, Chicken Breast Skewers with Grilled Artichoke and Red Onion, Chilled Strawberry Champagne Soup Shots, and Mini Pink Juicy Sorbet Cones.  Also served to guests that evening was the “Juicy-tini”, a specialty cocktail created by Eggwhites and made with Fresh Strawberries, Mint, Vodka, and Champagne.

The night was incredible with a great turnout with Eggwhites providing fabulous food and drinks for the guests to enjoy!

 Eggwhites Special Event Catering was privileged to provide special event catering services for the Design Miami “Designer of the Year” party at the Moore Building in Miami for over 500 special guests. 

    

  

The menu, which was as fashionable as the party itself, was produced with primarily locally grown and organic ingredients, and consisted of some of the following: Arugula Salad with Roasted Beets, Toasted Walnuts & Gorgonzola; Green Goddess Gazpacho with Chervil Crème Fraiche; Mahi-Mahi with Sweet Boniato Mash, Chicken Breast with Truffled Grilled Polenta & Rosemary Demi Glace; and Red Quinoa with Pancetta, Pine Nuts & Sun-dried Mango.

Eggwhites Special Event Catering participates in its 10th year of the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival

   On Saturday, February 26th, 2011- Eggwhites Special Event Catering was privileged to be a part of the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival.  To celebrate both our 10th year participating and the 10th year Anniversary of the Festival itself, Chef Gary Lampner created our new chic and innovative hors’ d’oeuvre — the “Egg Cone”. 

 

 

The “Egg Cone” is composed of a savory cone topped with a Quail Egg and Wasabi Tobiko Caviar infused Creme Fraiche.  The “Egg Cone” was both stunning in appearance and flavor, and was certainly a favorite at the Festival.

 

 

   The Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival is one of the largest and most highly esteemed food festivals in the country.  They celebrated this huge milestone along with a long list of celebrity chefs including Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray, Giada DeLaurentis, and Guy Ferri to name a few.

Eggwhites Collaborates with BMW!

Eggwhites was thrilled to be a part of the launch of the new BMW X series, a fabulous six-day event. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Journalists from all over the world, Russia, Asia, South America, Middle East (just to name a few) were invited to get the full “X” experience.   During their stay they were given different routes to take throughout beautiful Miami. 

One of their pit stops was at Mack’s Fishing Camp located in the Everglades. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here journalists enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the pristine Everglades. Airboat rides, alligator sightings and a delicious BBQ were some of the activities that were offered throughout the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eggwhites created an all American BBQ menu that featured a grill station with made-to-order juicy angus beef cheeseburgers with all the fixin’s, crispy skinned wings, grilled spicy shrimp skewers and veggie brochettes.  

Also included in the menu were freshly baked corn bread and biscuits, “mama’s” fresh garden salad with yellow and red tomatoes, classic mac n’ cheese and to finish off on a sweet note, delectable mini key lime pies and novelty ice creams.
