Last week, Eggwhites Special Event Catering had the pleasure of producing the VIP event for the groundbreaking of the new Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood Florida.
After the ceremonies at the Hollywood Bandshell, the VIP guests moved into the tent located on the construction site of the future Margaritaville Beach Resort for Margaritas and delicious snacks.
Eggwhites provided ice cold Margaritaville Margaritas and Landshark beer alongside Margaritaville’s famous chips and dips.
While the VIP guests mingled around the tent listening to classic Jimmy Buffet, performers on stilts entertained with dancing and balloon animal creations.
Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is a world-wide brand of hotels, resorts, casinos, restaurants and stores revolving around the “laid-back” life that Buffet promotes.

YPO Miami at Vizcaya
In honor of the Fourth of July, we want to share with you a 1920’s Americana themed party we recently produced. Eggwhites Catering worked with the Miami Chapter of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) to create a fabulous party at Vizcaya!
Fully costumed for the occasion, guests entered the transformed courtyard at Vizcaya and were greeted by servers with a Mint Mojito welcome drink and feather headband for the women. Alongside live performers and musicians, Eggwhites served upscale American style comfort food.
Our servers passed around plates of American Style Chicken and Waffles with Maple Syrup and Meat Loaf with Mashed Potatoes, Pan Gravy and Peas. Guests treated themselves to a gourmet Macaroni and Cheese Martini Bar with Maine Lobster, Fresh Asparagus and White Truffle Oil.
Call us the next time you’re planning a themed party and we’ll be sure to make it a hit with all your friends and family!
Happy Fourth of July!

Ever partied with 2,500 other people?
Eggwhites Special Event Catering recently produced the Absolut X Miami party for the iconic vodka company Absolut. The city of Miami was the third stop of the Absolut X event series that is currently touring the country. The events in the Absolut X tour are a collaboration of food, cocktails, music and art with each event spotlighting different artists and a local mixologist.
With the launch of ABSOLUT X, the brand is exploring new territory by bringing together artists from four different disciplines – music, art, culinary arts, and mixology to create exceptional live and digital experiences.
Taking place on May 16th at SoHo studios in Miami, this event featured the indie rock band Bloc Party, visual artist Agustina Woodgate, the cuisine of Chef Gary Lampner, and mixologist John Lermayer’s libations! Guests enjoyed Hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks prepared on-site by Eggwhites Catering (our staff was more than 70 strong!)

An up and coming trend with many brides and grooms is a “green wedding”. The idea behind green weddings is to decrease the environmental impact that the event will have on the planet. Brides and grooms can make decisions in their wedding planning process that can make their wedding green without sacrificing elegance or fun! www.GreenBrideGuide.com has many tips to help couples make earth-conscious decisions while planning their big day!
Read below some facts from Green Bride Guide’s website regarding a green wedding:
“Transportation The EPA estimates that cars, trucks, and buses are the leading producers of air pollution, yet about 75% of couples travel to and from their wedding in a limousine. Holding your ceremony and reception at the same venue, or close by one another is one way to limit travel for your guests. If possible, make this a centralized location so that most of your friends and family will not have to travel far. Carpooling, renting an alternative energy bus or trolley, or talking public transit if available will not only make things easier for your guests, but it will also get them to and from your celebration while minimizing emissions.
Favors Favors for all your guests can cost you hundreds of dollars, and often wedding favors are small trinkets destined for the trash can. Making a small donation for each guest to a cause that is important to you is a thoughtful alternative to a tangible, potentially wasteful favor. If you are set on giving a small gift, there are tons of non-wasteful favor ideas like edibles, small potted plants, seedlings or soy candles that will echo the values behind your wedding.
Invitations Throughout the wedding planning cycle, paper is used for save-the-dates, invitations, RSVP cards, seating programs, menu cards, seating cards, thank you cards, and more. Traditional papermaking is an energy-intensive process that creates a large amount of waste and uses harsh chemicals such as bleach. Recycled and post-consumer waste paper, tree-free paper, soy inks, and digital correspondence options all offer beautiful and elegant ways to reduce resource consumption. Many modern couples are finding ways to simply cut down the use of paper in their invitation suites. Instead of including separate papers for reception cards and maps and directions to the wedding, house all pertinent information on a wedding website. A number of chic invitation companies are now creating one-page invitations with a detachable response card. Most couples find the middle ground that best suits their style and their guests’ needs.” Green Bride Guide FAQ

Awesome Wedding day!
“We just wanted to say THANK YOU! times fifty for all Eggwhites did to help make our Bonnet House wedding such a spectacular event! The weather may have been a bit dreary, but every other detail couldn’t have been more perfect. You made our wedding planning much easier with your help in finding so many of our vendors (band, ceremony music, transportation, day of coordination, lighting, etc) who all happened to be top notch and very accommodating to work with. Thanks to you for always being available when we needed you and giving your honest opinion and most important – thank you for not letting me lose my mind :). The “stress” of planning a wedding was made much less stressful with all Eggwhites did for us. Our guests are still raving about how great the food, the band, the Bonnet House and the wedding was! Thank you Eggwhites!”
– Leaa & Eric (Ceremony and Reception at The Bonnet House)
Above and Beyond
“We can’t thank Lindy and Eggwhites enough for everything they did to make our wedding day so perfect. Lindy went above and beyond to help us plan and achieve the wedding we dreamed of! Eggwhites did a fantastic job and we had so many compliments on the absolutely incredible food, service and décor! For a wedding that is so personalized and unique, reflecting everything about you, Eggwhites is without a doubt the way to go. Every part of our experience was taken care of with great detail, professionalism with no request being too large or too small. We loved working with Eggwhites and wish we could do it all over again!”
– Igor & Kate (Reception at The Miami Beach Botanical Gardens)
Unparalleled Service and Professionalism
“Working with Eggwhites was a dream! While most of South Florida suffers from less-than-stellar customer service, Eggwhites really shined, far above and beyond any company I’ve worked with thus far! The food was outstanding of course (but what else should we expect from a professional catering company, right?!) but it was their service and professionalism that really stood out to us. We felt like we were in good hands with Eggwhites from the very beginning! Lindy was fantastic and always available for even the smallest of questions, which we brides really appreciate the closer the big day gets and the more and more nervous we get!! Eggwhites’ execution on the big day was flawless; every single one of their servers and bar tenders was polite, courteous, and professional. And Eggwhites was extremely accommodating for any little details that we wanted to include. If you want a flawlessly executed event, Eggwhites needs to be a part of your Wedding A-Team!”
– Heather & Axel (Ceremony at The Ancient Spanish Monastery)
