Eggwhites Catering New Event Space!

We have something EGGSTRAORDINARY to tell you all about. Eggwhites Special Event Catering has a BRAND NEW, state of the art event space/showroom that we want to share with you!

Summer is in Full Sail!

It’s almost summer time! That means barbeques, trips to the beach and, our personal favorite, venturing out into South Florida’s pristine waters.

Chef Gary Lampner and the Eggwhites crew have already had the pleasure of catering numerous nautical themed adventures this year. From birthday celebrations and dinners for Cleveland Clinic donors to corporate celebrations for Super Yacht and Leopard Catamaran, we love stretching out our sea legs.

Want to host an event out on the water but don’t know where to begin? Whether you own a yacht or are renting one, we are happy to work with the existing crew to do something extra special! We can coordinate everything for you from yacht rental, nautical themed décor and sea-worthy wait staff to, of course, your delicious cuisine and beverage.

If you would rather stay on shore, there are many fabulous venues we have the pleasure of working with. We would be happy to help coordinate the whole event, from a more traditional affair to clam bakes, upscale barbeques, a s’mores station and more!

Love is in the air, and it’s definitely showing here at Eggwhites Special Event Catering. While we enjoy the corporate cocktail parties, charity galas, birthday parties and more, we have to admit that weddings are some of our favorite events here at Eggwhites.

South Beach Food & Wine Festival

This year, Eggwhites is taking things to a whole new level at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival on Sunday, February 26th at the Grand Tasting Village between 1:00pm-5:00pm. Since the festival’s inception, Eggwhites has raised the bar every year. This time around, guests will not only be raving about the unique and delicious flavors of our creation, but delighting in this whimsical and memorable presentation.

Jack and the Beanstalk

If you are familiar with the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk, our presentation for the festival will take you back to your childhood in a whole new way. Eggwhites will be serving a Golden Deviled Egg with Smoked Goose Breast. Some of our lucky guests will be able to steal away a Golden Egg without climbing the beanstalk or worrying about the horrible giant chasing after them. With production underway at the Eggwhites commissary, chefs are busy prepping to serve thousands of waiting guests. Chef Gary Lampner is a featured Chef this year at the festival so please stop by and say hello. You may read more about Chef Gary on the event’s site. Birthday parties aren’t always for kids… and we would know since we had the honor of producing Adam’s 50th Birthday Party. A continuous line of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Maseratis were a clear indication that a who’s who of South Florida would be in attendance. Only if your name was on the list would the Continuum’s concierge activate the elevator.

Very little was left to the imagination with the fun theme our client chose for his swanky Miami Beach apartment. Once you entered, you discovered paradise on Earth. The entire condo was decorated like the Garden of Eden to go with the Adam and Eve theme. The mood was set with gorgeous models wearing only body painted serpents and apples and the canopies of ivy and leaves hanging throughout the apartment.

We mirrored the theme by creating some dishes and drinks to excite the guests’ palates. Some fan favorites were the Mini Forbidden Candy Apples, the Garden Fruit Sorbet Shots and cocktails like the Serpentini and Eve’s Seduction (See recipe here). Adam is a good  friend and longtime client; it was an honor to organize this party for him.

Eggwhites Produces Lavish Events for Art Basel’s 10th Anniversary

Eggwhites & Design Miami/ Art Basel

Eggwhites has been all over town for great events for Art Basel’s 10th anniversary. Earlier in the week we catered the Collector’s Preview at the Design Miami tent, where we are also operating the Café through Sunday December 4th and at the Fendi VIP lounge. Yesterday morning we had guests visit us at the Design Miami tent bright and early for the Collector’s Breakfast. Later at night we served some delicious sweets to compliment Pharrell’s liquor Qream at his party for Art Basel while simultaneously producing the Montblanc de la Culture dinner honoring Craig Robins.

With the weekend just beginning we have some great events lined up. Today we will be on a private mega yacht for Christie’s Auction House and at night at the fabulous Moore Building for the Designer of the Year party for 500 special guests. For the rest of the weekend we have some very lavish events at spectacular venues in the Design District, South Beach, Fisher Island and  Downtown Miami.

Giraffas Grand Opening

There’s no better company to produce a fabulous Grand Opening Party than Eggwhites Special Event Catering!  Giraffas, an established casual restaurant concept that has been in business in Brazil for over 30 years with over 350 restaurants just opened their first US location. Eggwhites was brought on to produce this spectacular party with an array of great signature cocktails, such as Passion Fruit and Strawberry Caipirinhas and our famous signature drink the Triple Egg Pisco (Recipe featured below). Eggwhites’ stellar staff served a variety of delectable Brazilian specialties to guests which will be featured on the menu at Giraffas. Guests enjoyed the traditional dishes served such as the Quinoa with Mixed Greens and Baby Shrimp and Picanha with Farofa (Top Sirloin with a Semolina Grain).  Eggwhites Catering is thrilled to have been a part of Giraffas’ highly anticipated expansion to the Miami area.

Triple Egg Pisco

The Triple Egg Pisco, which was a guest favorite at the Giraffas Grand Opening, is one of Eggwhites’ most popular signature cocktails. It is a variation on the traditional Peruvian cocktail, the Pisco Sour, with the Eggwhites special flair in the addition of the 3 mini quail egg garnish.

We are now featuring an incredible selection of delicious and organic sorbets that are created and produced at our commissary.

 

The real sorbet menu changes seasonally to ensure that the local, organic fruit ingredients are at their peak flavor.

Eggwhites Special Event Catering Produces a Quinceañera featured in A&E’s “The Glades” at the Spanish Monastery

On Friday, May 6th, 2011, Eggwhites Catering had the privilege to produce a fabulous Quinceañera for an episode of  A&E’s #1 Show “The Glades” at the beautiful Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach.   

 

 

We designed a gorgeous Quince which was very traditional, but also trendy and cutting edge. 

The cuisine featured was a combination of passed hors d’oeuvres and fun stations such as: Serrano Ham and Queso Croquetas; Seared Tuna Carpaccio on Yucca Chips; a Tostones Martini station with Carnitas, Queso Blanco and Key Lime Crema; a Ceviche Shot station including Shrimp Ceviche with Fresh Lime, Tuna Ceviche with Haberneros and Sea Scallop Ceviche with Pink Vinegar.
